A straight steam cylinder oil formulated from a select blend of high-quality solvent refined mineral base oils to provide a strong lubrication film at elevated temperatures to protect the cylinders and valves from premature wear. Unlike compounded lubricants, straight cylinder oils have an excellent demulsification ability to cleanly separate from water allowing the condensate to be recovered.
Can also be used where a SAE 250 Straight Gear Oil is called for.

Applications:

A non-compounded oil designed for high steam temperatures and pressures under superheated steam conditions.
For use with condensing steam locomotives operating on preserved lines, traction engines, steamboats and stationary engines where steam condensate is to be recovered.
