This oil is classed as an EP Gear Oil meaning it contains Extreme Pressure additive.
This additive creates a buffer between mating metal surfaces and is excellent at reducing wear on components.
Meets gear oil specification API GL-5, which means it can be used in gearboxes, spiral bevel axles, and in particular axles/differentials with Hypoid Gears, operating under moderate to high loading.
This oil is mineral based and will mix with other oils very easily.
